Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max – Best Overall Specifications Dimensions: 163.8 x 78.8 x 7.65 mm; 207 g Colors: Silver, Black Price: Starts at $899.00 Check Amazon.ca Product Details: The largest model of any member of the iPhone lineup to date, the iPhone 13 Pro Max offers both performance and size upgrades compared to its predecessor. It features larger dimensions and a thicker frame as well as improved cameras, display and battery quality. Despite being only slightly smaller than previous generations, it also retains many of the advanced technologies found on its predecessors, including FaceID, A12 Bionic Chip, MagSafe and Touch ID. On top of those, you get 3x faster charging, better privacy settings, wider color options, longer range in wireless connectivity and more. But that's not all; Apple has designed the Pro Max with increased durability. Aside from using aluminum casing instead of plastic, Apple added Corning Gorilla Glass Victus in place of Gorilla Glass Victus. This glass protects the front panel from damage and scratches, which is necessary for protecting against cracks that could break the screen. One major difference between the two is that the latter has a lower tensile strength rating while retaining its toughness. Other notable improvements include Ceramic Shield finish with higher hardness to protect against scratches and abrasion. Alongside these benefits, the glossy sides of the back cover provide great visibility while reducing ghosting. Of course, the big question remains whether Apple will eventually update older iPhones to utilize ceramic shield on the backs of their screens. Still, the Pro Max provides an excellent choice for users who need a good phone at affordable rates. Pros Affordable pricing Cons More expensive than competitors with similar specs
In comparison to the competition, the Pro Max costs just under $900 USD, making it a very competitive device compared to popular models such as Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus ($899.99), Google Pixel 6a ($749.99) the Apple Watch Series 4 ($199.99). While it doesn't have quite the same powerful processor as the biggest flagships, it still performs admirably, thanks to enhanced graphics processing, high-resolution displays and solid build quality. And don't underestimate how much extra storage it gives you by allowing you to add up to another 256 GB of space without even having to upgrade the model. There's even more bang for your buck with multiple colors available when choosing between silver, black and midnight blue. At only 165 grams thick, the Pro Max is lighter than ever before, putting less strain on your arms while keeping your hands comfortable for extended periods of use at a glance. Speaking of the body itself, the case boasts four layers including Gorilla Glass Victus on the front and back and matte aluminum covering around the key punch hole. The aluminum also acts as an effective protection tool, limiting scratching and cracking. For the most part, the construction of this luxurious gadget looks rather attractive, especially considering it costs so little. As for ports, they don't look too bad either as they feature three USB Type-C charging slots, one HDMI Out, 2x speaker system jack, headphone jacks at the bottom and volume rocker next to them. The main drawback to this powerhouse lies within the camera department. Like its predecessor, it lacks the ability to shoot night mode images, however, this does mean the photos on this device are sharper. That said, the resolution isn't what makes this a must-have, perhaps because the company focused mainly on producing an ultra-slim smartphone. What it means is that photos coming out of this device are somewhat grainy, however, the low light capabilities should prove to be enough for those times where it’s hard to capture every detail and detail. Another disappointing disappointment is portability and stability. Having made several changes at the edges of the design department, Apple didn't leave anything out of the box. Even though it features IP67 water and dust resistance rating, the case feels like it’s simply hanging around on your wall at home. Moreover, there's no option to charge an external power source, although a Lightning to microSD cable adapter can be used to do so. All in all, despite its minor flaws, Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max provides a solid package to satisfy anyone's demands for excellent performance. Pros Good value for money Cons No telephoto lens
Harmful cameras, poor audio quality and slow charging
If you need a compact smartphone that brings speed, efficiency and ease of use to your daily life, then the Huawei P30 5G may be the perfect choice for you. This 5G phone packs a bigger punch than expected with Qualcomm Snapdragon™ 888 chipset and up to 18 hours of battery life. Its overall performance will match that of top-tier devices like the iPhone 11, which is particularly interesting considering the fact that it utilizes the Kirin 9000 CPU, along with an upgraded neural engine and X60 AI GPU. Together with these innovations, the phone delivers astounding gaming, multitasking and multitouch accuracy. It even supports 30fps continuous gameplay at 60 frames per second. These remarkable numbers are further boosted by the addition of 5nm Kirin 990 Mobile Platform. The result is truly impressive, and none of us could forget about playing Fortnite on PUBG Battleground 20, even if we couldn't play Fortnite with friends after finishing all 50 levels of Grand Theft Auto V. And if you aren't interested in getting full access to the game (which requires purchasing the Premium Edition), there's an exclusive “PUBG" Mode on PC. You can enjoy exciting challenges, multiplayer matches, amazing skins and weapons customization, and complete missions. What really gets me excited is the inclusion of Super Resolution Gaming, which allows gamers to zoom in and out and enjoy crystal clear video while playing games with minimal interruptions, thanks to the Ultra Wide Lens technology. So, while I won't recommend this phone for hardcore gamers, casual players may appreciate how smooth the experience is. Pros Advanced imaging tech and large storage Cons Lacking proper software support and stable mobile internet connection Cons Expensive
